Project Description:  DWM Inc. was contracted to replace existing grease traps that did not conform with current South Florida regulations. This work started off with the removal of all existing landscaping and sidewalks as needed. Once the initial demo was completed DWM excavated locations for the removal of the existing concrete grease traps. Once the existing grease traps were crushed and removed, a 12" layer of crushed stone was placed and the new Schier grease traps and solid interceptors were set in place. Once inspections were completed by the local municipalities, DWM began to back fill the openings and started preparing to place concrete slabs and sidewalks over the new grease traps and interceptors. When the concrete was finished, DWM brought in additional fill as well as mulch in the landscaped areas and replaced existing asphalt in the roadways as needed to conform to Public Works standards.
