High Volume Deli Project – Multi-Location Remodels Across Florida

DWM, Inc. proudly completed a series of High Volume Deli remodel projects across four Florida grocery locations. Each project involved coordinated efforts across multiple trades, including General Construction, Electrical, Plumbing, FRP, Painting, Quarry Tile, and MMA flooring, depending on the site’s specific requirements.

Although each location had its own unique needs, all four remodels shared the common goal of upgrading deli operations through equipment replacement, utility reconfiguration, and interior finishes.

Project Overview

Work included:

Electrical Upgrades:
Installation of new receptacles, replacement of existing devices, termination of obsolete wiring, and adding junction boxes in ceilings to support data runs.
Plumbing Reconfigurations:
Removal, relocation, and installation of new plumbing fixtures. This included cutting and capping abandoned drain lines, running new piping, reworking water supply lines, installing new sinks, floor sinks, and trap primers—tailored to each store’s layout adjustments.
Concrete Work & Flooring:
DWM sawcut and removed existing concrete flooring to allow for new under-slab plumbing and floor rebuilds. After plumbing was completed, each slab was backfilled, pinned, and poured with new concrete.
Interior Finishes:
All locations received upgraded ceiling tiles, with DWM replacing existing tiles with vinyl-faced gypsum ceiling tiles.
- Locations A, B and C: Installation of FRP wall panels.
- Location D: Walls were newly painted to match adjacent finishes.

Location-Specific Highlights

Location A - Florida:
Added four new receptacles, two junction boxes, reworked plumbing for hand and 3-comp sinks, and installed FRP alongside new quarry tile.
Location B - Florida:
Replaced an existing receptacle, installed new sinks and drains, and added FRP panels after completing quarry tile.
Location C - Florida:
Installed new two-bay comp sink, new drain lines and floor sink, completed quarry tile installation, and added FRP panels to finish the space.
Location D - Florida:
Installed new piping and trap primer for a floor drain, poured new concrete, and applied MMA flooring. Finished with new ceiling tiles and refreshed wall paint.
